Which areas do you cover?
Bradford Pet Care is based in Wibsey, Bradford BD6, and we cover this area plus many nearby locations including Buttershaw, Woodside, Odsal, Low Moor, Wyke, Brighouse, Norwood Green, Westwood Park, Clayton, Clayton Heights, and Shelf. Generally any area bordering Bradford BD6.
If your area isn’t listed, please get in touch. We may still be able to help, though a small additional charge could apply.
Can you take my pet to the vet or groomers?
Yes, we can. Our van is fully insured for pet taxi services, so we can transport dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and more to vets, groomers, or other appointments. You’re welcome to travel with your pet at no extra cost.
Are you fully insured?
Yes, we hold comprehensive insurance covering third-party liability, pet care, custody, control, and transport. Our insurance also includes key and lock cover for customers’ house keys.

Do you have any training or qualifications?
Yes. Chris holds a BTEC National Diploma Level 2 in Animal Care & Management. All our walkers are trained in pet first aid, and we always carry a pet first aid kit during walks.
Do you offer meet-and-greet sessions before starting services?
Yes. We arrange a FREE meet-and-greet at your home so you can meet our team and we can learn about your pet’s needs. This helps ensure a smooth, comfortable start to our services.
How do you ensure the safety and wellbeing of my pet during walks and visits?
We prioritise your pet’s safety and comfort at all times. Our team is trained in pet first aid, and we carry first aid kits on every walk. We keep a close eye on your pet’s behaviour and health, use secure leads and harnesses, and only walk pets in safe, familiar areas.
What happens if my pet gets sick or injured while in your care?
If your pet shows signs of illness or injury, we’ll contact you immediately and seek veterinary advice if needed. We are trained to provide basic first aid and will act quickly to keep your pet safe.
Are your services suitable for pets with special needs or behavioural issues?
Yes, we can care for pets with special needs or specific behaviour concerns. Please tell us about your pet’s requirements during the meet-and-greet so we can tailor our approach and ensure their safety and comfort.
Can I book your services online?
Yes, once registered with Bradford Pet Care, you can book dog walks, puppy visits, and cat visits through our website. We’ll guide you through the online booking and payment system powered by Pet Sitter Plus at your meet and greet.
How do you handle cancellations or changes to bookings?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. This allows us to manage our schedule and offer the time slot to other clients. Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.
What are your payment methods and terms?
We accept payments online through our customer area by card, cash, or bank transfer. Dog walking invoices are sent out weekly on Fridays. For pet visits, payment is usually required at least 7 days before the booking start date. If you have any questions about payment options or terms, please get in touch.
